AviD is a security architect and software developer, leading development teams in building secure products for over 20 years. As a systems developer and security consultant, over the years Avi has amassed much technical knowledge and understanding of the enterprise security needs at the business level.

AviD currently serves on the OWASP Global Board of Directors, and leads the Israel chapter. He is the founder and leader of the the popular AppSecIL security conference, the OWASP Threat Modeling Project, and co-authored the Threat Modeling Manifesto. He is a community moderator on Security StackExchange, and a frequent speaker at industry conferences, recent ones can be seen here.

Maya is the COO of Bounce Security and has been part of the team since it was founded in 2017. She runs the day to day operations behind the scenes, and likes to keep the bouncing at Bounce. Maya’s favorite part of the job is meeting new people, keeping our clients happy and organizing fun original get togethers for the remote staff.

Josh has worked as a consultant in IT/Application Security and Risk for 15 years now as well as a Software Developer. In that time he has seen the good, the bad and the stuff which is sadly/luckily still covered by an NDA.

He previously spent time acting as a consultant and team leader for various security consultancies including AppSec Labs, Comsec Global and KPMG Somekh Chaikin where his speciality has been helping organisations improve and get better value from their Secure Development processes and providing specialist Application Security advice. He also has experience with application penetration testing, cloud security and evaluation and implementation of software security tools.

In his spare time he co-leads the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard project and is on the OWASP Israel chapter board.

Liel is a dedicated security consultant and researcher at Bounce Security, where she partners with clients to build secure software solutions from the ground up. With a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a background as a web developer, Liel brings both a strong technical foundation and a developer’s perspective to her security approach. She’s especially passionate about making raising awareness to cybersecurity among the development community, improving development methods (and the world) by spreading easy-to-access knowledge

Outside of work, Liel channels her curiosity and problem-solving skills into artistic projects and is known for her collection of unicorns, a nod to her love of all things unique and magical.

Bounce Security was founded in 2017 by Avi Douglen on the product security and consulting aspect, alongside Maya on the organizational side. Over time, the team grew and now includes Josh as CTO and Liel as an Product Security Consultant. The company makes sure to have a warm and caring environment, whilst staying professional.

Bounce Security consults on product security to development teams of all sizes, working with them to integrate security practices into their product development process. We’ve worked with some of the biggest organizations on their product security, as well as small startups. We prefer to work directly with development teams, often providing training on secure coding and other security topics. Product security, development processes, identity architecture, and access management are our specialties.
